SPIROL receives the Green Circle Award from the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection

SPIROL has received the Green Circle Award from the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection for our Environmental Management System.

The related press release from Governer Rells' office states: "Spirol International Corporation's Environmental Management System was certified to ISO 14001. The most significant successes of Spirol's Environmental Management System were a 22.67% decrease in Waste Oil disposal resulting from 100% recycling of metal cutting lubricants. In addition, Spirol reduced electricity consumption by 7.78% with the installation of a High Efficient Lighting system equipped with motion detectors in office areas."

Spirol International Corporation has also achieved the following quality certifications: ISO/TS 16949:2002; ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:2004.
